US Airways files $150 million rights offering

WASHINGTON, June 29 (Reuters) - Bankrupt US Airways Group. Inc. on Wednesday filed a rights offering to raise $150 million in additional equity financing, the airline said in a regulatory filing.
The nation's seventh-largest domestic airline, which plans to merge with America West Airlines (AWA.N: Quote, Profile, Research) , said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission it would offer rights to buy just over 9 million shares at a proposed price of $16.50 per share.
