Consider this a good thing. Any involvement of RSA will mean the elimination of pensions and other benefits. Be glad they're staying away.Rampman said:did anyone else read that RSA said they have no intrest in investing in UAL? If that is the case then I assume that someones merger plan is off the table. 😛h34r: Am I reading this wrong?

If I didn't think you were such a stand up guy, I would say you are wishing we will experience the same pain you have. :down:bigbusdrvr said:wonce Tilton wrests the pension obligation from UAL you will see investors.
All you will have to do is find another job in addition to UAL for your retirement planing, not unlike us a UAIR....
Absolutely not.......you have "once" again misunderstood me.767jetz said:If I didn't think you were such a stand up guy, I would say you are wishing we will experience the same pain you have.
Sounds like you're holding a pretty serious grudge there, big guy (little man). Thanks so much for your support.
p.s. repeat after me... once is spelled o-n-c-e. As in once UA emerges from CH11 you'll have even more to begrudge 😛
At least there is a possibility that part of your pension will be paid by the PBGC. If you're lucky it will be as much as half what you thought it would be, but better'n nuttin.bigbusdrvr said:I would like nothing more than see UAL make a stand for the industry and the profession! Lose the pension and you lose the game,Their is nothing more to look forward to! This has truly become nothing but a job.....
Without that "Pot-O-Gold" at the 60th birthday, well lets just say I'm not relishing another job interview.
Is there really a need to call me a name after posting what I posted? Sheesh.bigbusdrvr said:hey dofus....
