Runway Incursion Consequences

If I made a mistake and applied power after being told to taxi into position and hold what consequences can I expect. That’s what happened to me and I was ordered by tower to park and go home. :unsure: Tower has no authority to order me to stop flying :angry: but knowing that I made a mistake a complied with their unusual order thinking its better to go home then have them call FAA. <_< But what really could be the consequence of such a mistake ?
Can anyone answer ?

That happened long time ago so I'm not worring. My question is (no one seems to know)what the consequence from FAA. What can they do for such offense?

I am thinking with that kind of unusual request he was trying not to take action against you. Had he asked that you contact the tower after parking and collected all your info, then your busted. When he asked you in essence to simply "just go away" he's actually trying to protect you from a violation.

You made the right choice.

How far did you accelerate down the runway? Did you immediately realize what you did and roll 10ft? Or did you get up some speed?
