I would hope that if a leader had his/her child in the military that they would not let it interfere with conducting business. How ever, when W gets out of combat because of influence, Cheney gets out of combat due to influence, Clinton gets out of combat due to influence there is a link.

Perhaps if they had children in the line of fire, they would be more cautious in placing this countries children in the line of fire. Perhaps when they do place them in harms way, it will be for a noble and valid cause. How many of us treat a rental the same way we do our own car?

People of influence will 'never' have their children in harms way.
There will always be deferments and other 'reasons' why their 'chillin' will be excluded to serve.
