SkyWest is a great airline, good to hear! JO is a first class $*&#@. I will miss seeing the Dash 8 though.

Mesa is a disgrace of an airline.

...and Skywest pilots are some of the nicest in the business!

Good news. I hope they eventually take over the rest of the flying. I remember US was looking at Q400's for one of the commuters, great airplane. What ever came of that?

They're expensive, the economy tanked and most of the express contracts were extended through 2015. It was cheaper to extend the CRJ200 contracts than to purchase/lease new Q400s to replace them.
