I know a few that have evacuated homes. I also know that scheduling the other night were hateful to crews affected on trips. People were hosing their homes down and being told " I need to cover this and I don't care about your home" All on recording people! And they wonder why scheduling should be automated. OCC disgusts me these days. No hearts and only care about PIT and what goes on there. :rant:
My thoughts are with everyone in Southern Cal as I can't imagine how they must feel. A very good friend in Hurricane Katrina lost everything. The company charged him for his emerg manual as it floated off into the Gulf of Mexico. Sick I say.

North county is getting hammered. Mex to SB experiencing fires, OC and Arrowhead also bad. IE Riverside w/o smoke still w/ high winds but not as high as yesterday(small comfort).
 
if any body like to donate go to sandiego qualcomm stadium for donations of anykind if ur in the sandiego county only

Really? Shame. I know of 2 FA's that were released off of a trip on an LAX layover 2 days ago. Scheduling deadheaded 2 FA's out from PHL to cover for them. Their houses were in big trouble. Scheduling could not have been nicer. They were off the trip in 2 minutes, as it should be....

I call bulls**t on your story. I was quite impressed with the way scheduling accommodated them. (And I am sure that those conversations are on the recording, too....)

BTW, I would *LOVE* to hear the tape from scheduling where a scheduler says, "I don't care about your home." 🙄

What a flair for drama.....

I was wearing the 2 piece, actually. :lol: And I am just realating my story with scheduling and how accommodating they were. No trouble at all.

We have TONS AND TONS of RSV and BH hangin around this week BEGGING to fly. Why would they not release FA's whose entire lives are crumbling???

I don't buy your story one bit. No hard feelings. <_<

some bit ches, er people...arent happy unless they are moaning, groaning, whinning, and tryin to start s&h-i/t where there aint none.
 
Well I actually KNOW the person that beachboy is referring to and it certainly DID happen. They could NOT get someone out in time for the trip so they pulled him WITHOUT actually talking to them. They sent the message through acars. Whatever...Call BS all you want....see if they answer. :lol:
