I fail to see the connection in that article between the safeness of Baghdad Streets and America. I suppose you did that for effect?
I would love to hear the response of Youssif, the 5-year-old Iraqi boy, when you tell him that America is more dangerous than Baghdad.
I heard somewhere that there are more killings in Detroit per year than in Baghdad, is that true? Of course, that probably has little to do with illegal foreign nationals, but it's an interesting statistic.
Anyway, this story is absolutely terrible, and we should be outraged at the laws in Los Angeles County, and any municipal government that holds similar statutes. I heard an LA city councilman on television say something to the effect, "well we don't want to persecute the folks that are here illegally because of the bad will it would bring to our community. We don't want them to be scared of dealing with law enforcement." I couldn't believe my effin ears!
The connection is...while we spend 1/2 Trillion US taxpayer dollars on the violent worn torn streets of Baghdad (attempting to make it safe), young American high school students are being murdered in the streets of LA by illegal foreign nationals.
What you might show some interest in is the response from DEAD American high school student Jamel Shaw as to why you are concerned with the response of youssif vs. the 5 year olds that are being murdered in the streets of LA (where our money should be spent).
It may be for effect for you. Jamel's mother was serving in Iraq, the US government is more concerned with making the streets of Baghdad safer than the streets of LA (with hundreds of thousands of criminal illegal foreign nationals roaming the streets)
I can see this next riot spreading across the country over illegal aliens. I know here in LA people are VERY VERY angry.
Naturally, north americans feel that all these illegals come here because they can reap the benefits of the wonderful american welfare system. They leave their homes, families, traditions just for the priviledge of comming here to be second class citizens; earning meager wages ,working in poor conditions and for the added pleasure of serving the "americahnoes" as maids, land scapers, etc..North by Northwest,
I mentioned this earlier in another thread, but you may just get your wish: The federal gov't may start becoming more concerned with illegal immigrants in our country.
History has shown that our government has, generally speaking, based its immigration policy and enforcement off the country's perceived need for a cheap labor force. If our future economic picture continues to look bleak, the federal gov't may start perceiving less use of a cheap labor force. Using history as my guide, I believe the government will start to enforce a stricter immigration policy.
For example, in the 1910's to early 1920's, Congress responded to the needs of agricultural employers in the southwest by creating the first temporary-worker program. Once that need for cheap labor was gone, they used sticks. For example, to drive Mexicans back to Mexico during the Great Depression, the U.S. denied Mexican laborers many welfare benefits. Then, in the 40's and 50's when cheap labor was once again needed, the U.S. responded to wartime calls by agricultural employers for a Mexican fieldworker labor force. In the late 50's, the INS retook control over the border and expelled illegal migrant workers.
Naturally, north americans feel that all these illegals come here because they can reap the benefits of the wonderful american welfare system. They leave their homes, families, traditions just for the priviledge of comming here to be second class citizens; earning meager wages ,working in poor conditions and for the added pleasure of serving the "americahnoes" as maids, land scapers, etc..
Americans do not see this wave of humanity (many of you don't see them as humans) as a direct result of the foreign policy carried out by the yanqui imperialist U.S government at the behest of the corporate elite.
The yanqui imperialist U.S. government foments revolutions and instability in Latin America, for the benefit of a few corporate and political elite; then it turns around and acts like the victim when there is backlash..... The U.S. government doen't stop illegal immigration because its corporate masters want them here.
Earning on average 30-50 times more than they could potentially earn at home in Mexico.... (oops... forgot that part, didn't you?)
Yes, I'm sure if you were to go to Mexico and query a thousand Mexicans at random, they'd all quickly tell you that the U.S. government has them by the neck! The government can't control our own people, but they sure got a hold of them Mexicans....
I am a citizen of America. America consists of two continents and an isthmus (look it up), not just the United States.Just out of curiosity, what country do you come from? Are you writing from some Jihad camp in Afghanistan? Maybe you can enlighten us as to how all of the 535 elected members of the united states congress are in on this scheme to dupe the world for the benefit of six men in a smoke-filled room, laughing while they bathe and wipe their noses with hundred dollar bills. Then please go on to explain how the elections are fixed (requiring the participation of tens of thousands of other people).... then go onto say that we're controlled by the media (oh, and of course, so are all the Mexicans).... we all can't wait to hear your wacky views on the world!
Get ready! There's going to be a Conspiracy Theorist cleanup on Aisle 4!
I should not bother to answer your simplistic jingoistic rhetoric, but I cannot resist.Hey "Cabron Che" if you hate this country so bad then feel free to "back stroke" your American hating "back side" to Cuba!
The Federal Reserve (that private bank owned by European banking interests) finds millions of dollars to bail out the Wall Street gang. I suppose that is in your best interest too?
How did I give you that impression? "We the people" would have footed the bill regardless. For you, I and the rest of the sheeple are here to be fleeced by the ruling capitalist elite and their politician whores. What amuses me is that you appear to think that if the Federal Reserve and Morgan would have allowed Bear Stearns to file for bankruptcy protection, that it wouldn't have resulted effectively in a "bail out" at the cost of taxpayers anyways?
