Jeez, I hate to see union guys go at it like this. Reminds me of the 94' or 95' FS election when the IBT, IAM, and the USWA were smearing each other to death. It was bad for everyone and I still hear the resentment among members. That probably has alot to do with some of the current resentment of the IAM.
Furthermore, I recall the company trotting out the 'Gangsta' stuff in the captive audience meetings back in '88 or 89'. Remember the "no IBT" buttons? Seems to me that both sides are doing managements work (as usual).

I see that the highest paid person in the IAM is Buffenbarger and he only made $260,603.00. Man that is a lot of money!!! What we could do with that kind of money.?.?.?.? Hell....what we could do with the $31,235.00 differance between the two.

The IAM has 610,000 members!!

The IBT has 1.3 million members!!

The IAM pays $.42 (cents) each for MR. Buffenbarger's salary annually.

The IBT pays $.21 (cents) each for Mr. Hoffa's salary annually.

If the IBT members paid what the IAM members are paying ($.42 cents) for every member annually, Mr. Hoffa would be making well over $500,000.00 per year.

If the IAM members paid what the IBT members are paying ($.21 cents) for every member annually, Mr. Buffenbarger would make just under $130,000.00 per year.

And you know what????? We, as TEAMSTERS only vote once!!!!!

🙂

I will guarantee you that Awa is not scared. It really isn't your business ,but Awa works full time as a Mechanic (a very good one I might add), and he is part of the negotiating board for the Local 104.

Shame on you Mr. 70 for resorting to a childs tactic, again. 🙂
