Ten People Overcome By Fumes,four Critical

Fire officials say ten people have been
overcome by fumes aboard a plane that sat on the runway Thursday night at BWI.

Officials told a local television station that four people were transported from the scene in critical condition, and six others were in serious condition.

IAH/BWI flight tonight. 4 critical?

What the heck happened? While they sat on the runway?

One person got sick. The others got sympathy nausa. That simple.

I wasn't here last night but what I get from the RON crew it was quite a scene.

Well, the media jumped the gun again last night. I was watching Letterman and they broke in to the show with the report that "many passengers were overcome by fumes in the cabin and 4 passengers were taken to hospitals in critical condition." And, all it was was a little communal upchucking!

(Sympathetic vomiting? Considering the state of food in on airplanes and in airports today, people with a stomach that weak should stay home! )
