It may be a joke. Yes, a lot of middle seats, possibly 4 aisles?

This article is a crock of shizzle. That is a pic of the cancelled Sonic Cruiser. 😛

Now that I have seen this joke of a plane, I don't just like the A380, I LOVE THE A380. This plane is not streamlines, and I know it will not be able to fly! AIRBUS INDUSTRIES ORINGANAL PLAN FOR THE A380 WAS THE DOUBLE BUBBLE. THAT PLANE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO FLY! No big planes, because if that crashes, 1000 peoples lves are at steak! Same with the A380. Boeing, on the other hand, really should make a long range plane with short-long range 190 passenger plane and good engines mounted on the back. I love airliners that way! MD-80s and 90s looked so streamlined at a certain angle, I was beutiful! MAKE A PLANE THAT LOOKS LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE! DO NOT GIVE OTHER COMPANIES IDEAS TO MAKE VERY UGLY AIRPLANES

That's the Blended Wing Body design...Boeing has been working on it with NASA for awhile with hopes of using it in a new military aircraft. There have been rumours of a BWB passenger aircraft, but not until way after 2020. From what I've heard Boeing plans to stick with the tube and wing type designs.

Popular Science ran some great images of the BWB in their Century of Flight issue. It actually did look pretty cool.

My personal favorite right now is featured in Air and Space Magazine this month. A Boeing engineer came up with what he calls the "Super Clipper". It is a giant Sea Plane thatwill hold close to 1500 passengers. The two floats are actually 747 fuselages, both of which are filled with passengers. And then there is a larger main fuselage that is basically a giant 747. I wish I had an image of it to make it clearer, however there is none online to be found. The plane is really cool looking and a total monster when it comes to size. I suggest you all buy the magazine, as it is an interesting article. It basically states that the only thing holding back the potential size of aircraft are the sanctions at airports. That is why the Boeing engineer went with a Sea Plane, therefore this aircraft will have all the runway space it needs.

I should also add that this article states that the BWB will use the same terminals as the A-380. The Air and Space article states that the A-380 barely fits into the terminals right now. I believe they said it is 6 inches of clearance on each side. There is no way something as large as the BWB will fit into the existing terminals. Either they will have to make it smaller, or go with a Sea Plane so there is no restrictions for size.
