Hi All,
I am an ATP pilot looking to get some jet time... I am wondering how I can log time?
Please substantiate these items!
If a jet is single pilot rated, even if I am in the right seat, I cant log the time (as SIC)
In a jet requiring 2 crew... SIC doesnt need the type rating.
Not having a type rating, is there any way (or what is the best way) to get in the right seat to log SIC time without someone giving you a HUGE break?
121 turboprop operators can log SIC time (turbine time) in the right seat (because 2 crew required) but 91 operators of turboprops cant?
I am considering transition to prof. pilot, but it seems like you need a big break to get jet time... less of a break for turbine time.
Thanks,
Bill
