Some people are trying to claim that all these cases that have been going before the SCOTUS today are weakening Democracy. I’ll make the argument that they are doing the exact opposite. The idea behind the SCOTUS is for them to take on the toughest issues. Particularly all the ones that are and will regard President (Precedent) Trump will spell out stronger what the power of the Presidency really is. Is he/she above the Law while in office or will the role be further restricted? It’s also basically let the Adults take over.
People will always call them Partisan when they don’t rule the way they want and will ignore when they do rule in their favor. That’s natural because people always want to win. But they’ve ruled on plenty of cases that have gone both ways. The SCOTUS is the last real hope for Democracy.
