KTO, you must really be in need of a life. You've only been here for 3 weeks? Yet you already have 266 posts. Wow. I think that's a record.

Yes indeed I am, this computer and TV are the major sources of my entertainment. I'm expecting an E-mail from Princess that will change all that though.

NHBB you better go get you some blood pressure pills or something is going to blow. I wish I had one of Delldudes neat little pics right now. Any way, what are you ranting about? Why don't you join AMFAMAN and Local12 and fill out the questionnaire?

KTO:

I am not quite clear what the AMFA striking has to do with you choosing to be a SCAB? You make it sound as if the choice wasn't yours. Be honest, on a spirtual level, deep down, at the end of the day, do you feel good about the choices you have made? Do you feel a sense of personal integrity having chosen to cross the picket line? When your shift has ended and you're taking an internal inventory of your day, are you proud of the contribution you are making? Do you wear your new uniform with a sense of pride? Do you like yourself? I'm asking, because you spend an awful lot of time on these message boards and I am wondering what your purpose is? Are you trying to be provocative and antagonistic? Just trying to figure out your motivation for numerous postings that invoke very emotional and deeply personal feelings about the issue. What is your intent for inciting such reaction, exactly? Subconscious guilt? Remorse? <_< Just curious about what is driving your behavior, both as a SCAB and on these message boards...

JAMAKE1, I never believed AMFA would strike. They had everything to loose if they struck. So I accepted this job with the belief that I would be home right now with a nice amount of money in my pocket for basically doing nothing. We are talking about almost 10 thousand dollars and an all expense paid vacation to Arizona. I get here and decided to dig a little deeper to see what this strike was exactly about. That is when I stumbled across this forum. After reading some of the posts I realized that the mechanics didn't have the first clue about what was going on down here so I thought it my duty to become a member to this Forum and inform them as to what was really going on. I kind of made it my personnel mission to let the guys know what they were up against. Well you can see how I was received. No one cared about the information I had to offer or verify it, they just started insulting me and jumping down my throat. Well I took that kind of personally it actually hurt my feelings. It has just escalated from there. My mission went from being informative to defending myself and fellow mechanics. Then that idiot reporter made that biased report, I got pissed off. Then I see how AMFA has misled its members into this strike half cocked. Then I get on station to find a destroyed facility and sabotaged aircraft with a huge MEL backlog. Then to sit here and read all of these derogative posts of how we cant keep the aircraft in the air and how the MELS are stacking up and we haven’t even had a chance to go to work. So I have made it my mission to set the record straight and defend my fellow mechanics against all this blasphemy. Yes I'm really pissed at AMFA because they lied to their members and now I'm stuck in the situation I'm in. I gambled that there wasn’t going to be a strike and there was, just because I was wrong doesn't mean I'm going to bailout of a contract. Plus these union fanatics that aren’t even involved in this strike has gotten me focused hard on this mission. All this time I believed I was talking to actual Northwest mechanics that were actually on strike. Now I find out all these fanatics are just trolls stirring a pot they have no business stirring. That first post I made was for Northwest mechanics that had a real interest in this forum not you jackasses. My mission stands strong and that is to assist Northwest in busting AMFA wide open and defending my fellow mechanics. I hope that the mechanics on the picket line realizes how AMFA lied to them and return to work before it’s to late, that’s if it’s not already to late. The rest of you can burn in hell for all I care.

 😛 What a maroon!

AGIAN YOUR A MORON B)

Keep the Odds,
Say what you like, but you made your choice a long time before this strike happened. You made a conscious decision to help management and be a part of causing some men and women to lose their jobs. You say that you never thought this strike would happen...

WELL, it never would have happened if no one ever had signed up months ago to be a scab!

What a novel thought. Then management would have had to be serious about the sacrifices each group would make. Understand this very clearly...there is not one union employee for any troubled airline that does not believe that they should make a sacrifice to help save their company. The problem is in "fair shared sacrifices." Does anyone remember when Lee Iacoca took $1 as salary until his company (Chrysler) returned to profitability? What a concept...to lead by example. When you have CEO's and VP's taking millions and millions and still get bonuses and have hidden SERPS and these are expected to be funded off of the backs of labor...then YES, you will have strikes.

You, KTO, are making a salary off of the backs of a long history of hard working labor who have stuck it out and followed the legal routes made available to them.
Shame on you.

Say what you want about NWA management, but they are certainly earning their salaries now. Andrew Roberts deserves a nice bonus for the way he orchestrated the strike plan.

Being a good leader means having some ethics. As I said, it goes back to "fair shared sacrifices."
