Why from that article would you hate attorneys. The hate should be for United who is asking for the return of earned income for services already provided.

People hate lawyers because of what? Is it the fees that have got you in an uproar?

I geuss we can all take something different from that article....but hate for lawyers was the last thing I would of got from THAT article.

Congress writes the Bankruptcy laws - and transfers within 90 days are presumed to be preferences, which are a no-no.

If you want to be mad at someone, be mad at Congress for designating payments by debtors within 90 days as preferential (and subject to return) or be mad at whoever at UAL approved the preferential payments.

What do the lawyers have to do with any of this?
