When did Delta ever have an Airbus?
So that was mainly the European Int'l route? The Pacific went to United if I recall correctly.I think some A300's (maybe 310's) were part of the deal whne they got the PanAm routes, but they didn't stay too long.

It's all SPECULATION at this point folks...but we we'll find out very soon! It wouldn't surprise me to see both the 787 and A350 ordered. The 787-8 would certainly be a great replacement for the 767/757 fleet.
A Kia cost 1/2 as much as a Honda. Does that mean the Kia is a better product and value over each's life span? If the Honda is built better, has less maintenance costs and is more dependable, isn't that added price worth it? But to Sandpit, they don't look what the benefits reap. They just look at the one factor, not the repricussions that may occur. The 787 is 3 months away from its first flight, while the A350 is still on the etch-o-sketch. All the A350 will be, how can they lighten the A330. In 7 Years the aviaton business will be totally different than it is now, as now is totally different than 7 years ago. Can US afford to wait? Look at what it would be like if they had the plane earlier. The costs could start to be made up sooner. But waiting on the A350, what one to believe that it will be ready by 2014? When 2014 comes and Airbus is still delayed with the A350, does that price of the A350 still justify the delays and wait?Folks you can point fingers at all the facts you want...

If Airbus is going to give a deal for the A350 at half off the list price... Belive me... LCC is going to do it...
Boeing can il-afford to offer LCC the 787 at half list...
They don't have to... They won't... There are too many Airlines stepping up to but these A/C at sticker...
