Threat posed by Drones to Airplanes

Dear All,
Given the inevitable advance of drone technology, I hope to consult forum participants if there is a possibility of someone (terrorist) directing a drone maliciously into the engine of an aircraft, causing it to crash. I have this concern and I hope to be proven that it is an irrational fear on my part and this can only happen in a movie. Hope to hear your views.

JMHO&PO, It is not an irrational fear.
It will happen someday.
It is inevitable.
