Assuming they still have cable or dish service... Perhaps some of the non-striking workers could videotape or TiVo?

Success is often a matter of blind luck, and some deserving people, talented in their own right, never get a crack at it. Such has been the fate of Shane "Footsteps" Falco, once a hot All American prospect on the football field. Shane can only regret what's behind him, and can't even begin to imagine what's ahead. But Fate is not through with Shane. When League players decide to strike, leaving the prospect of empty fields (and equally empty stadiums) for team owners to contemplate, the Washington Sentinels scramble for a solution. When they bring contentious and self-retired head coach Jimmy McGinty back into the fold, McGinty seeks out players who will play with their hearts rather than their wallets. For the League, the situation is a disaster, but for Shane and a mismatched crew of outsiders, it's a second chance to grab at sports stardom. As they amaze everyone with their winning streak, the ragtag group discovers in itself the ability to hope for more than they ever thought possible, maybe even the playoffs, which has been denied to the Sentinels for seven years.

That's the movies.

HERE IS REALITY

The Story of the Beer Drinking Scab

University police directed the picketers off the street and arrested one unidentified AMFA picketer and issued him a citation for failing to obey a traffic order. The police declined to say what caused the citation to be issued.

A striker armed with a video camera took pictures of a replacement who emerged from a side door of the hotel with a bottle of Budweiser in his hand. The replacement set the bottle behind a curbside trash can before boarding the bus. "That's going straight to Channel 9!" shouted a striker.

A University of Minnesota police officer picked up the bottle, which he later said was half-empty and cold, and set it in the garbage.

So how much did it cost NW to pay off other media outlets as no other media outlet has touched it since?

Yet an FAR violation nonetheless, as he proceeded aboard a bus that took him to the airport where he presumably worked on aircraft. A violation of NWA's Drug and Alcohol policy as well.

Yet an FAR violation nonetheless
one probably of many in the near future.
still on your property prior to striking there were most likely more than one....
curious...how many mech's wash their mouths out with mouthwash at shift end??

Drinking Alcohol before working on multi-million dollar aircraft before flying the public is a VERY BIG DEAL!

Ask any A&P

Reminder... it's on tonight, so set your VCR or TiVo!

You guys are beating this non-existent scab hobo to death. It is almost as bad as the impossible to find scab list. Let it go. It is an urban legend, a stupid one at that. Seen the movie FM. Very good movie, I like the cheerleaders.

Using mouthwash is a violation of NWAs policy? So much for customer relations!

While some brands of mouthwash contain alchohol very little will be absobed into the blood stream. After all children are allowed by law to use mouthwash.

As far as the beer drinker its only a matter of time before its on the WEB.

Well, it was also supposed to be a matter of time before MEL's grew to the point where it shut down the airline. Still waiting for that, too....

Actually, not. The FARs are written and designed to determine the state at shift start, before performing the safety function of the job, and during the shift, but not after, and the testing standards take into account things like mouthwash. Unless, of course, you're drinking it.

I would be careful how you talk about us lowly drunken worthless no good drug-up scabs. If we are indeed all that you people say that we are what does that make you? WE KICKED YOUR BUTTOCKS!!!
