TOP TEN INDICATORS THAT YOUR EMPLOYER HAS CHANGED TO A CHEAPER HEALTH CARE PLAN:

(10) Your annual breast exam is done at Hooters.

(9) Directions to your doctor's office include "Take a left when you enter the trailer park."

(8) The tongue depressors taste faintly of Fudgesicles. .

(7) The only proctologist in the plan is "Gus" from Roto-Rooter.

(6) The only item listed under Preventative Care Coverage is "an apple a day..."

(5) Your primary care physician is wearing the pants you gave to Goodwill last month.

(4) "The patient is responsible for 200% of out-of-network charges," is not a typographical error.

(3) The only expense covered 100% is "embalming."

(2) Your Prozac comes in different colors with little M's on them.

AND THE NUMBER ONE SIGN YOU'VE JOINED A VERY CHEAP HEALTH CARE PLAN:

(1) You ask for Viagra and they give you a Popsicle stick and Duct tape.

Oh, for crissakes, Delldude. It's a joke. Your guy lost the election. Give it a rest. That's the way it works in this country. I had to put up with Shrub for 8 years; your gonna develop an ulcer if you don't quit getting your panties in a knot over Obama.

Considering the fact that the little Iraq adventure that your guy started cost so much (none of it included in any of Shrub's budgets) means that your great-grandchildren will still be paying the bills for it. (Did you see the latest report about the prison in Iraq that you and I paid $40 million for--so far--that will never even be finished, much less used?) I fail to see how Obama could do much worse by providing HEALTH CARE to American citizens.

Just Shrub's last giveaway to the money guys should have made you grateful that the Repubs are not in power any longer. You do remember the $700 million that Bush and Paulsen gave to their Wall Street buddies, and "No, we don't think that you the taxpayer have any right to know what any of our buddies did with the money." Remember?

Jim.....your guy is coming apart at the seams already and showing his lack of experience and leadership as we debate.

Wait till you're older...it WILL matter then.

Better look into that...your hero Obama prodded him to cough up the last of it.
You fail to see where this 'stimulus' package is going? And what its costing for what we get out of it?Its not for jobs dude.....
Its a liberal Christmas wish list if you didn't notice.
I suppose its ok with you though.....

If that's a reference to the Daschle mess, I can't believe you would even bring it up considering the number of Republicans that have been caught with their hands in the till. If you are looking for an honest politician, you are going to go to your grave sadly disappointed. (Though I do find that level of naivete refreshing in someone your age.) As Mark Twain said, "Suppose you had a politician. Now, suppose he were a crook. Ah, but I repeat myself."

Wait till you're older...it WILL matter then.
I'll be 64 next month. How much older do I need to get before I am as wise as you?

Oh, horrors! A pork-filled bill coming out of Congress? Who would have thought? Ever heard of Sen. Ted Stevens, Republican from Alaska and the $500 million bridge to nowhere? (See quote above, ref. Twain, Mark)

So now that your guy is in and you think all the politicians do it we're not supposed to talk about ethics? Trust me, if McCain had won and appointed someone like Daschle we never would have heard the end of it.

Bill Richardson
Hillary and Bill (two for one)
Tim Geithner
Eric Holder
Nancy Killefer
Tom Daschle- he was the 'man for the job' yesterday.....
William Corr
I'm sure I missed a few...and a couple lobbyists for good measure.

"I campaigned on changing Washington and bottom-up politics. And I don't want to send a message to the American people that there are two sets of standards," Obama said on CNN, one of five networks to whom he gave interviews Tuesday.

He stood by these clowns just like the good Reverend...until it was politically inexpedient to do so.He has sent a message that there are indeed two sets of standards.

"Change I hope you can believe in"

"Complete transparency"

(Though I do find that level of naivete refreshing in someone your age.)

Thanks for the kind words,Sonny Boy ;)

"The United States should not be in the business of nation building." George W. Bush on the campaign trail in 2000

"Iraq has weapons of mass destruction." "Iraq was directly connected to 0/11."

"Mission Accomplished"

We can all play that game.

Seatacus., I never said these things cannot or should not be discussed. What I said was considering Delldude's reticence to discuss the malfeasance of various Republicans over the last 8 years, I find it just a teensy bit hypocritical to suddenly notice that Democrats are not angels either.

They are politicians for crissakes. If any of them knew how to do something else, would they be in Washington?

Well, you all were sure that when Clinton was elected that we would all be living in communes and singing the Internationale within 2 years and I know you were all deeply disappointed when instead of spending us into bankruptcy, Clinton left us with a huge budget surplus and still a democracy. Maybe Obama will give you the opportunity to say I told you so. (But, I doubt it.)

That's the trouble with those freakin Democrats. They refuse to fulfill the stupid prognostications of the fat Florida drug addict you all worship.

Well, that's a personal finance tactic they learned from their Republican friends. But, here's an editorial about why getting rid of Daschle is the best thing that may have happened for President Obama yet.

Don't Mourn for Daschle

I bet a left piece of my anatomy that article would have never been written if D-man got past the muster.

Just not quite liberal enough to suit your boys,Eh Jimmy?
