Training agreement signed for easyJet
EasyJet has selected CAE to provide full pilot-training capabilities for the airline's Airbus A319 pilots. The training will be undertaken at CAE's facility located in Burgess Hill, UK which will be equipped with two CAE full-flight simulators, two CAE maintenance /flight training devices, classrooms and related support services. CAE and Airbus will deliver the training. EasyJet is taking delivery of a total of 120 A319s and leases a number of A319s to easyJet Switzerland, in which it owns a 49 per cent equity stake.
