Trump said in his statement that McCain has been "extremely disrespectful to the thousands upon thousands of people, many of whom happen to be his constituents, that came out to listen to me speak about illegal immigration by calling them 'crazies.'

You apparently don't know many then.  One does not have to wear a flag pin on their lapel to prove their love for America, nor do they have to be a conservative to respect the military.  Indeed...many of us liberals were outraged that our warmongering republican president, vile president, and secretary of defense would send troops into a war zone with less armor than is on the presidential limousine and then tell those troops "you fight with the army you have".   And a lot of us felt our military was better served in protecting Americans rather than fighting in a country that did nothing to us.    Of course, back then we were told "you can't support the troops if you don't support the war".  Bet you were one of those.

I know.  Facts are hard for you to swallow Donald. Given the Trump supporters who are defending Trumps remarks, I almost feel that todays conservatives over 55 are the same ones who were calling Vietnam vets baby killers.  I think that's why they call any kid enlisting a "hero".

Trump just cannot help himself.  He keeps talking and talking and he just keeps digging and digging.  If the GOP wants to be inclusive of hispanics and others, they need to shut him down and do it now.  All he is doing is driving voters that the GOP needs to win, away from the GOP.

McCain was right.  Trump is bringing out the crazies and that is not good for the GOP right now.  They already have like Abott and Cruz who think the Fed is going to take over Texas with Jadehelm 15.  They sure do not need Trump stirring the pot up even more.  I would think his attack on veterans would seal his fate but politics is a weird business.
