TWU WILL BE BACK IN CLT THIS FRIDAY. IN THE BUSINESS CENTER. SAME LOCATION AS THE PREVIOUS VISIT!

I did some math on the fleet service numbers posted above looks to me the total numbers for fleet service for east west are
8001 so the TWU needs 35 percent of this number to get an election which is about 2800 they have 2498 in TWU dues check off which leaves them short by about 300 cards.
These numbers to me look like the TWU will be filing for an election because I'm sure the IAM has pissed off at least 300 US east workers in class 2 citys over the past few years. So all the fault for this upcoming vote once again falls on the poor representaion from the IAM not the workers.
The IAM international is going to get exactly what they didnt want an election!
If they have done a good job the IAM will have nothing to worry about just ask the AGC's.

Cards will be available and can be handed over. privatley this can be arranged if anyone feels intimadated or threatened by other individuals to exercise this right! Dont let anyone tell you its not!!!Any other cities interested in handing over cards pm me!!! TWU will come to you!! We all have the right to choose. There will be information available in CLT which was requested on the last visit. Reality is setting in for those who have started reading up on the FACTS. The truth is out there! I'm all for de-certification if it screws IAM and its leadership. You see, when they came to PHX, everyone was polite and friendly. No threats, no harassment. When TWU went to IAM turf, they were threatened, IAM members were threatened if they talked to TWU members... IAM leadership showed no class on their turf. In fact, during this whole merger dealio, IAM has shown no class. None. Nadda. Zip. What about my job if there is de-cert? I'll go back east and find another job. I had another job before I found this one.

actually the only reason that you dont want to see the TWU in those cities is because it was those cities plus BDL and PVD that got the sucky contract thru. The IAM slept with mgmt and farmed out about 31 cities or so and the loss a large number of furloughed employees. Now why should we keep the IAM intact when they have CLEARLY demonstrated the lack of leadership?

IAM will take all contracted cities back for there layed off fleet service people. Hopefully all 31 cities will be IAM once again plus the 20 or so that parker wants to contract out in the west.
The IAM has to finaly has to make a stand like the CWA
has.

Smart of you not coming to PIT.
We are the most senior station in the system and we are smart enough to know that what you guys are trying to accomplish is nothing more than mass suicide of the whole group.
It has nothing to do with being IAM-TWU-Teamster-Bakers Union supporters either, we are just smart enough to know what the end result will be.

Go to the meetings if you wish , ask questions & see if you get strait answers! I doubt it. Folks, they want to contract out your jobs. What do you think will happen if you have no union ?

Was talking to one of our committe men yesterday & he said we have some where around 1500 on furlough & we have NEVER had a 50% turn out for a vote.(Except org vote to have a union)
