That only works when both sides bargain in good faith.
when I completed my training,
I went home to see my family.
and told people,
I just finished training with DL
the first words.. nearly a dozen people said to me..
"please tell me how to get on with them"
I am going to leave it at that..
and not even go into detail how some were begging and pleading,
hopefully just to get a job interview
with those folks.
If I am not mistaken,
100,000 applications came in for 1000 Flight Attendant positions (when they were hiring)
If you've been at NW as long as you say, you should know that never happens here.
well I know, that is why it needs to change and furthermore we have been merged.
witnessing what happened at NW over the course of our careers, it is clear..that part needs to stay in the past
(the "never happens here" part)
if the poor labor relations and Union/Company fighting is inherited it will = fail
after the Union had just went on about how they were excited about the merger,
what was their next response?
They sued them over seniority.
The rest of what happened this past year is sort of obvious the course they are going to take.
I personally do not want to go down that road again that always ends up = fail
maybe it'll be different now, but with Campbell & Anderson at the table, I doubt it...
it is possible it can be different
it can be done another way.
I am trying to be open minded taking careful steps along the way.
Delta is highly respected in the community,
at least where my family is from,
they have no choice but to keep that tradition close.
we have a responsibility to do the best job we can.
Kev,
It is so very obvious you are highly intelligent and respected.
there is no price tag on that, when they have someone like that
it is wise to retain them. IMO
I hope you have a nice day.
