Uairq Stock

UAIRQ was up yesterday .13 and as of 1200 today up another .07. ( Up 20% over the past 5 days ) Any opinions on whether this stock will emerg from Chap 11 or be cancelled like the last time ?

I agree. Even if it is not canceled (I think it will be canceled), the new stock issued to new equity investors or creditors will so dilute the existing stock as to make it nearly worthless.

If you want to gamble on airline stocks, I recommend DL, CO and NW, which will certainly rebound if oil drops sharply and/or one or both of the currently bankrupt legacy carriers liquidates.

uvn is correct - or at least there's a 99.99% chance he is.

Both the AWAC and Republic deals call for only "new" stock upon emergence from BK.

i expect the uairq stock to be canceled as it was previously which removes the last 65mill of debt

look at kmrt as recent example people that held for decades lost it all then new stock issued made millions but none for previous owners

To bad USAirways doesn't own real estate the only reason KMRT is where it is today.
