Glad we agree here. Just one side question-if Roach hasn't been an IAM member for over 11 years since TWA went away and likely hasn't been on the line for longer than that why does the constitution allow VPs like him to retain their positions for so long?

Complacency.

Worked with Sito many years ago at Capitol Air, (1980 or so) he was a good guy, Union minded and smart. Met him back in 2001 in Nashville(?) when they were discussing integrating the TWA workers. Still came across as a good knowledgeble Union minded guy. I'd willingly trade some of the higher ups we have for guys like him.
I know Sito personally and have worked with him on US issues many times when he was our GLR. He is old school, tough and a fighter, a good union man who hasnt lost sight of the goal.

Thanks to you both for weighing in. I'm happy to hear he's well regarded. He's got a helluva a climb ahead of him, so hopefully, he's up for it- and open to new ways/ideals the membership may call for.

I worked with him on the Airbus Arbitration case, organizing and a few other things, he taught me a lot and I do respect him.
