I hear that Air Georgian has been awarded 2 UPS routes down east, worth 2 1900''s of flying. Halifax-Mirabel and Quebec City -St.Hubert-Halifax or something...not quite sure. Those routes were long the domain of Skylink which now appears to be in a precarious position. Talk of layoffs a couple months ago (never confirmed though) and now losing this significant bit of flying.

Also, apparently GGN is getting one more C208 to finally replace one they lost to Cameron Air early last summer. Looks like all 32 of the GGN layoff are to be recalled in Sept. too. Great news for GGN, crap news for Skylink.

Interestingly though, it appears GGN was awarded those contracts at a higher price than Skylink was bidding. What''s that? A courier company taking "service" into account and not just price? Hell freezing over can''t be far away...
