Captain Dave Westberg, Chairman of the Pension Investigation Committee at the US Airline Pilots Association, says the airline’s pilots won’t be satisified until they get answers to serious questions about their failed pension. Believe it.

I'll be happy if one day I get pennies on the dollar from what I believe was stolen, or watch a few of the scoundrels responsible do the perp walk.

WOW!

A VERY interesting article to be sure. Wonder if DP and SK are crapping their pants?

Has nothing to do with Doug or Scott, was done when Siegel was CEO.

Doesn't matter the CEO...when the IAM and AFA pensions were terminated on Jan. 10, 2005, five days after we ratified "frozen pension plan", the CEO was Buce Lakefield and by Sept. of that same year was Doug Parker.

If US Airways has 8.5 Billion to spend on a merger, after 7 years post BK, they should be forced to pick up the pension liabilities.

They don't have 8 billion to spend on a merger.

The way I see it, the pensions should not have been allowed to be liquidated and then have the company turn around and make record profits. How is that in any way fair to the pilots?

You really have no f'in clue, do you?

Well "IKE" (I know everything) why don't you clue all of us in. Let's hear what YOUR analysis is, instead of your condescending arrogance and insults.

Or is that above you pay grade?
