Just wondering what a guy would make in a fixed wing shop like spar or field, I''m getting tired of swatting mosquitos in the boonies as a rotaryguy, working 14-15 hrs a day for $250. I guess Air Canada people will flood the market soon also.........

Not much at Spar YYC. They''ll be shutting down this week. Some people moving up to Edmonton to work on Hercs, some going into Field as employees there. The remainder will be joining Air Canada guys on lay-off.

With the influx from Spar to Field, things are not looking good there either.

Personally, as a former fling wing wrench bender, I believe I''d stay where I was, if I were you. But then again, I don''t know your situation.

Good Luck to you whatever you decide.
