What's new

We Salute You Mr. Discount Airline Pilot Guy!

Thank goodness I never heard that one while I was driving! I would have had an accident. That was hysterical!

Indeed it is REAL funny. Drink repsonsibly, but hey, pilot guy, pop open a beer! Of course, I guess legacy pilot guy would be more appropiate, after all, we have the NWA and the AWA incident.

So sorry no, IMHO, this isn't very funny and it cast a bad light on pilots, whoever they work for!

"Sure we're concerned for our lives, just not as concerned as saving nine bucks on a round trip to Ft.Meyers."

Sadly enough, thats true...

Funny as hell though.

Did Jay Leno's endless goofing on the America West pilots bother you this much?

More people have seen Leno's goofing than have heard a :60 radio spot...

The AWA pilots did fly drunk, they deserved the ribbing and the jail time they are now enjoying.

Hey, let's castigate 100K pilots, because of the actions two idiots. I can assure, that having average Joe stick his head into the cockpit, inquiring as to whether you have been drinking is less than funny. I guess, that is okay though, because of the AWA incident.

Maybe AB should promote Bud as the official AWA drunk pilot beer, it might even be true!

Oh, I forgot, what were those requirements to get hired at UAL, 250 hrs and a Commercial license🙂

FUNNY,FUNNY,FUNNY. It just got sent to everyone in my address book.......I encouraged them to do them same.

Dizel8 - Youv'e got to (Bud)Lighten up.

Sure I do, just like ALPA needed to lighten up and not do radio commercials after the NWA incident.

I am sure, the corporate pilots at AB, would find it real funny too, if an executive asked them, if they had been drinking before the flight. Maybe they should make that into a radiospot.

"Bud, the official beer of the court convicted "reputable" airline guys".

"Bud, the official "flying drunker than a skunk, yet getting your job back at NWA" beer".

You just made me send the link a second time to the same people. This time I told them it would be good luck if they passed it on to ten people within 24 hours.

Actually, they're much lower. This recuitment guy from UAL came into my senior high school class and asked everyone if they wanted to fly for UAL. I was the only one who raised raised my hand and away I went! Go figure!

And you also forgot about the drunken ASA pilots. Get a sense of humor, will ya?
