Where Do 279 Planes Fly?

Anyway, its a mystery where they plan on redeploying the 150 or so 737s, the 'meat and potatoes' of the fleet to... aside from of course, MHV, the city with the largest US Airways presence of all.

They have yet to announce the rest of the LGA buildup as well as the BOS flights. I would expect to see service from both of these cities to MCO/TPA/PBI/FLL/MIA/RSW/JAX all as possibilities with several flights a day to most of these cities in addition to mainline flights to some business centers as well. Also in the info about the TP have been remarks about adding flights where the LCCs are flying. From Florida this would/could include MHT/PVD/BDL/ALB/SYR/ROC/BUF/CMH/CLE/DAY/CAK/ABE/IND/BWI/IAD/MKE and many other possibilties in several markets.
You might be looking at the fact that they are dropping (for example) 4 rts a day from PIT-BUF on mainline and think they arent adding the equal amount of service elsewhere. Well 4 rt BUT-PIT flights might equal 2 1/2 BOS-MCO flights so it wouldnt look like the amount of flights is the same, while use of planes might be (and if they'd implement "the plan" would mean additional flying time).
There are also other Caribbean markets that would/could be added including some more local stuff to/from SJU from Florida and select cities in the NE.
If we make it to Feb, it will be interesting to see what the route map looks like.

Just looking at PIT in general, it looks like they are down to 68 mainline flights with the NOV 7 change. That's a 40+ reduction. It will be interesting to see if and where that flying shows up.

You should be aware that there is a lot of seasonality in markets. SAN is pretty heavy in summer and rather light in winter. 3 years ago, IIRC, SAN would run 9x daily from the East coast in Summer and 5x in winter.
