Hi Deelmakur:
Thanks for the compliment.
In regard to my policy regarding the seat belt sign on a Shuttle flight departing from DCA to LGA, the FAA and TSA have a rule requiring all passengers remain seated for the first 30 minutes of flight.
Because our planned enroute flight time slightly exceeded 30 minutes and after the FAA required time frame we entered the approach phase of flight, it's my policy to restrict cabin movement for the entire DCA-LGA route, per the Flight Operations Manual and Airbus Pilots Handbook.
Best regards,
Chip
