Report from/by Scientists for the Center of Disease Control and Prevention, ALTERED by the Bush White House.

If this was not related to the CDC(which I have a very healthy respect for), I would have "passed on this"(Honestly)

As far a Dr. Gerberding is concerned, she can Poo-Poo this all she wants,...However, she needs to REMEMBER that she a Doctor FIRST, and a political appointee Second .

"NOT COOL"

Seems the 'Boxer' left out the part about the current administraion being responsible for Solar Flares!

You libs are behind the eight ball...
Leave climate change out of the equation local...let's talk "conservation". Should we conserve oil? Or is it worth the price of American servicemen's lives to maintain affordable gas prices for our SUV's?

YES
I say tell the Arabs to go pound sand and lets drill in America and the Artic, what say you libber? 🙄
I'd say lets cut back on our usage so that there is SOMETHING to drill in America when are kids are our age. Also...I know I'm a liberal tree hugging enviro-nazi - but have you ever noticed the difference between Texas beaches and Florida Beaches...especially those along the "emerald coast" of Florida? Ever wonder why Bush's own brother is reluctant to allow offshore drilling next to their goldmine---er----beaches?

I agreed to conservation did I not?

You compare Texas beaches to Florida?

Are you trying to say its because of off shore drilling? if you are then your not so bright, take a look at the Mexican coast with its 'WHITE SAND' and 'TURQUOISE BLUE' waters and they are the worst enviromentalist in this Hemisphere.

It has to do with geography, ocean currents, and reefs Dufus!!!!! 🙄

Really? Here is a map showing offshore drilling throughout the Gulf and Caribbean Sea. You are ever so right, oh wise one....Cozumel and Cancun have some of the most beautiful turquoise waters I've ever seen. But according to the map I was looking at, I notice a dearth of offshore drilling sites anywhere NEAR those places. But...I'm just a doofus...

Yea the Bay of Campeche, the second most productive oil field in the world is no where near those places.

Hey professor, ever hear of the Mississippi river, how about currents, or tides, or eddys? Yea your right, those Texas beaches are the result of those massive oil spills we hear about so much!

You deserve the Nobel for being so astute to all our woes!

Spin spin spin....did you even LOOK at the map (it does take a little time to download)? Compare how close to the coasts of Texas and Northern Mexico the fields are, to the distance of the bay of campeche is to Cozumel/Cancun.

It is you doing the spinning KC, The Bay of Campeche covers a vast area of the Mexican coastline, Especially the south central part. The Yucatan peninsula is right next door in southeastern part of Mexico, much closer to the Bay of Campeche than say Galveston, TX. or New Orleans, LA. or Biloxi, MS.

Your problem is you just can't stand to be shown the facts when you make a fool hearted statement such as this...

...and try to pass it off as the result of offshore drilling.

Let the map speak for its self!

Local...did I say the bay of campeche wasn't close? Nope. I just said according to the map that I posted, ...and I'll type this slow for you....THERE AREN'T ANY DRILLING RIGS BY THOSE TURQUOISE WATERS OF CANCUN. Not anywhere CLOSE. They ARE however rather close to the coast of Texas and Northern Mexico. That wasn't some liberal tree hugger map I posted for you (but you obviously didn't look at)...because it SHOWS the bay of campeche....and it shows locations of drilling rigs. I'm always open for correction, but please - look at the map that I posted.

Geographically, you are very correct...the Yucatan peninsula is right by the bay of campeche. Kansas City is also on the North American continent, but we aren't affected by the San Diego wildfires...and THAT's about the distance between the oil fields in the bay of campeche and Cancun and it' turquoise waters.
