White House "Cooks the Books" from Original Report !

So....you are saying the environmental impact of a well that is more than 500 miles away would be about the same as that less that 50 miles away. Tard.

Are you now Implying that one must travel to the southern rim of the Yucatan to find unspoiled beaches?

You were the one going on about how Jeb saved the Florida coastline from all those pesky oil spills. make up your friggin mind already!

BTW.... your still a Liar!!!!!! :glare:

I'd rather be a liar than an a-hole. Local...are there rigs as close to Destin as they are to New Orleans? Are there rigs as close to Cancun as they are to Brownsville?

I'd rather be a liar than an a-hole.

Well I would rather be an a-hole than a liar (guess thats just one more difference between a libber and a conservative), you may not like me but when I look you in the eye and tell you something it will be based on facts and not fabrication. Don't piss down my back and tell me its raining!

Are you aware that Cuba drills just 60 miles from the Flordia Coast?

Do you realize that pollutants from oil spills can travel thousands of Kilometers?

What difference does it make if the oil rigs are 50 miles out or 250 miles out?, Do you know nothing at all about currents?

The reason Jeb Bush does'nt want off shore drilling is because he's afraid it will hurt tourism, since when has a politician shown concern about the environment unless there is a buck to be made. Kinda like that hypocrit flying around the world on charterd jets telling the masses that we are to blame for global warming.

yes, there are currents. some go east, some go west, some go TOWARD SHORE. Is that a lie? 50 miles has a heckuva lot more chance that some of those currents will move sludge TOWARD SHORE that a well 250 miles out...is that a lie? I didn't realize I was debating with Jacques Cousteau.

Filler up....there's so many other problems that we might as well leave our kids with no fuel while were at it.

You drill where the oil is Einstein, thats why they have a thing called exploration!

I didn't realize I was debating with Jacques Cousteau.

...And I didn't realize I was debating with The Rainman!

I do every other week, cost about $30 to top off my 4 banger Ford Ranger!

You didn't answer my question....is it a LIE that more oil from a spill is likely to hit shores from a well 50 miles out than from 250 miles out? You called me a liar. I would like to know what part of that statement is a lie.

Didn't EcoAl Gore sign away forever never drilling offshore in Fla and Ca?

By the way...about cooking the booking the cook.....LOL  .....anybody notice the FEMA staged press op?

How can we tel the difference with any other press conference? Not like the press ever asks relevant questions.

Once again any oil spill is bad, pollutants can travel thousands of kilometers.

We should be more concerned with the 'HOW' we extract the black gold, as opposed to the 'WHERE'.

....CONSERVATION IS GOOD!
....CONCERVATION IS GOOD!
....CONCERVATION IS GOOD!

I know I'm a liberal tree hugging enviro-nazi - but have you ever noticed the difference between Texas beaches and Florida Beaches...especially those along the "emerald coast" of Florida?

This statement is where you started 'THE' lie and Im growing tired of pointing it out for you!

What is the lie...there is oil drilling CONSIDERABLY closer to the Texas border than the Florida border. If anyone is lying, it would be you, by insinuating that an oil spill in Florida would only impact beaches in Mississippi because of "currents".

Really? So Cuba drilling 60 miles off the Florida coast must be a mirage, drilling off the Coast of Alabama must be a mirage as well. Funny thing Mobile is 100 hundred miles from destin across land and it is a huge oil port. but once again lets not let facts get in the way, fabricating stories seems to be a past time for you!

Where did I say that spin meister?

You obviously have a problem with telling the truth, perhaps you we're neglected as a child and need to seek some counseling. Like a good libber you can just blame all your woes on someone else! 😉

I've become bored with your diversionary antics so spin it the way you wish!

Screw all trees! I say we cut them all down and just end the debate once and for all! NO MORE TREES - NO MORE ARGUMENTS! That'll be our motto! As for oil, I think we should stick with it, because if you think one Hummer takes a lot of gas, try all three I bought my kids! Whew! I mean, sure, one of my kids is only 3 years old, but the car lot was having a buy 2, get one free deal, and I thought WTF, my wife could always drive it if she gets bored of the SUV. I won't touch it, though, cause those things are gas guzzlers - I'll stick with my gigantic Ford truck, thank you very much. Oops, sorry, went on a bit of a rant there... as I was saying, screw those tree hugging, environmentalists, what with their concern for the ecosystem of the only planet we have and the natural resources that we exploit to our detriment! Screw them and the energy efficient Hybrids they rode in on. "The ice caps will melt, the ice cap will melt." Well good, I say bring it. I live in the middle of the US, so if the ice caps melt, that means a shorter drive to the beach and who needs Florida anyway? So yeah - eat it ya stinking commie liberals! Eat it long and eat it hard!

You may wish to seek counseling along with KC... seems you've blown a gasket! 😛

Haha, nah, just pointing out how absurd both arguments are. Look guys - can we agree that it maybe doesn't hurt to be environmentally conscious, but the solutions aren't as cut and dry as those in the extreme Left would like to think? I can tell you this - this issue goes beyond Right/Left politics. It's an Earth issue - we're in this together because the effects, whether you believe in them or not, will affect us all - not just the ones who were right or wrong.
