My opinion if the Company/IAM would negotiate some sort of health insurance coverage for its retires up to a certain age.

Doubtful. New retiree health care is quickly becoming a thing of the past. You know, "cost control." Even if there is some sort of offer, I highly doubt the promise would be kept long term if costs continue to rise like they are.

I would not hold your breath based on other workgroup attempts at the same thing, but you never know!

US Airways management keep a promise? You're right - FAT chance!

I hope the American Airlines employees are paying attention. Run, don't walk, away from this merger!

you wouldn't be Tom Horton in disguise would you ??

I think this is a valid concern some of us have about Mr. Parker and also Mr. Kirby. Not to say that ours is a team of champions in the trustworthy department. 🙄

Yep you got me, posting straight from my office in Fort Worth Texas!

Spare me, buddy. Just because you want to run along with whatever ol' Douggie says does not mean the rest of us do. He is leading us into a disaster and I for one will not sit quietly by while he ruins our careers.
