Windows 95

I''m looking for a dinosaur folks....a set of Windows 95 diskettes. I have it on CD but need diskettes to upgrade one of the ShortRangers old beater of a computer from W3.11. It has no CD drive and because of it''s design no place to add a CD drive.

If anyone has a set they can let me "borrow" for a short period of time I''d owe ya one (or 2).

wow that''s gonna be a tough thing to get a hold of. It would probably be easier to find an old cd-rom and just install that.

You''re right. I think I found out yesterday that W95 did not come in diskette format, only CD. As for installing a CD drive in the computer, won''t work, no room because of the design of the computer. She''s one of them old "All-in-one" designs, only room for expansion is a card or two, no empty bay slots up front. Anyways, I did come up with a possible solution. I copied the set up files from a CD drive onto the hard drive of another computer in the house. I them took the hood off of her and installed the ol'' beaters hard drive in as a slave and transferred the files over. Gonna try the set up now.
