I had some of my old gooberment worker/colleges/contacts calling out righteous indignation spouting ‘you deserved it’ when ‘I’ was screwed by UA in BK. These same blood suckers think because they work for the gooberment that they are above us. Screw them! Time for these gooberment leaches to pay the piper.

Here's a thought. When was the last time you heard someone say "Boy the service here sucks, they had better go hire some civil servants real quick"

We probably should take this to the UA board. However I think when a union mechanic with an FAA A&P license makes LESS as in significantly LESS than the flat rate mechanic who works on my beloved Audi TT Roadster we have a severe mismatch.

xUT, if you don't mind sharing what was your best W-2 with UA, all in? Overtime and the like? I ask because I will bet you that "AL" makes more than you twisting wrenches at the Audi Store.

Please don't take this as an affront to your Knowledge, Skills & Abilities as my point is the opposite in that as a AMT with the appropriate credentials you have a legitimate gripe with the folks in Gooberment.

Sounds like you have branded the entire 2,823,777 workers (2009 Census) as blood suckers because of a few idiots.

I know you are as bitter as I am about the hand we were dealt with our respective airlines (me = the NWA AMFA Strike debacle and you the UAL EFLOP Scandal). I assign some blame to several different entities for my fate; no individuals.

I have not ‘branded’ anyone. I have moved on. Now I am a small business owner (as I could not retire on the PBGC cheese) and pay taxes out the a$$ (much greater than the W2 I ‘ever’ pulled from the Lazy’U). Why should I pay for lifetime retirement for gooberment workers? I’m not speaking of just the DMV nimrods, but State and Federal; Congress, Senate, and every blood sucker in between.

Does the ‘state’ exist to serve the ‘people’ or do the people exist to serve the state?
