Please wish me luck at the job fair today. I have always wanted to be a city bus driver (not joking) and they are hiring now. I have a spotless record so hopefully I can get on. This is my big chance to get away from all of this junk surrounding United.

Good luck, Rampman. There is NOTHING wrong with driving a bus. I've been serving drinks on ones with wings for years. I think it's great.

Believe it or not, I drove a school bus when I was in high school...NO LIE, it was the norm where I grew up. It was a great gig. Have fun.

Drive a bus in NYC and you'll make more than JetBlew First Officers and probaly twice as much as a regional FO and about as much as a regional Captain.

Thanks all, I have to do a test on Noverber 13th and then I should be in. They were happy with my resume so I have a test date now. They make $48K toped out and around $60K with OT. But the coolest thing is when I have enough senority I could transfer to the rail division of METRO (DC) and drive trains....SO COOL.
