Wn Stopping (for Now) Phl & Pit Expansion?

Southwest's balance sheet remains strong. The airline ended the quarter with $1.9 billion in cash and an available unsecured credit line of $575 million.

Seems they are scared. Also, are they not Fuel Hedged until 2007 at some very low prices?

The pain isn't equally shared, however. Southwest Airlines (LUV: news, chart, profile) , which is "buy" rated by Merrill, has 85 percent of its fuel hedged at $26 a barrel.

I think they are saving some of their capacity expansion in PHL and PIT to announce that they are starting service from Charlotte :(
