Because the High & Mighty Mega World Carrier Airline Trash Talker Delta 777 wants to. Besides, this place is boring without the Gnome Wendy's employee, 'Puppet Queen', Shannon! Now YV, why the AirTrash tag? That surprises me. I'm telling my pal in RDU about this. As for Airbus 380, yes, AirTran is still a fun place to work.

I agree Citrus Jock 🙂 I'm happy to say that I commute on AirTran because they're reliable...gets me there on-time...never loses my bags oh wait I never check one 🙂 The only downside is the CSA(s) in DCA always go "Oh the flight's full...I'd be #8/9 on the standby list" and I still manage to get on 🙂

Maybe someone's hefty bags broke during the TSA screening process 😉

You would know what AirTran passengers smell and dress like, how??? Been hanging out on C and D concourse? Set up a stakeout operation near our ticket counter? Or, perhaps you're a commuter and have chosen as your means of travel the airline in ATL that consistantly ranks higher than others in on time arrivals, completion factor, and least lost luggage. At least you've changed your opinion from people have stopped flying on AirTran, to well...okay...like...maybe some people are flying on AirTran... but they...like... dress bad and like...smell. 🙄

That, my dear 777 is what we call progress. I'm proud of ya'. It won't be long until you're able to completely embrace the truth and make your opinions known without insults and name calling. Have faith, grasshopper. It'll come soon enough.

Tell ya what this former NWA mechanic flies AirTran all the time. I wouldn't set foot on an NW plane that is for sure and DL is going to be absorbing the HIV/SCAB virus so they are out of the question. Not to mention AirTrans fares are not too bad especially last minute fares and I always take the 49 dollar upgrade. Try getting an upgrade on NW/DL for 49 bucks. My only complaints are having to transit ATL (which I would have to do with DL anyway) and the ambush of the credit card people trying to get you to sign up for an AirTran credit card. I did by the way and I am afraid the 24 percent interest down from 29 percent offset the building of FF mileage points. Other than that I have had pretty good travel on them. Oh and by the way I have deodorant but I have run out of my cologne. I might not smell as good as I once did.

If you see a person sitting next to you with Gold Chains, Flip Flops and a hefty Black Garbage bag tossed in the 'Over-head', it may be someone's family member who will post on this forum... and they really like the B-777 airplane with a widget. They won't wear cologne and I doubt deordorant either. Not to worry, she is harmless. Happy Flying and be safe....

I have nothing against the DL people. I used to fly DL when I worked for NW and worked in ATL back in 93 and DL always treated me well as a non-rev. But the HIV/SCAB is in reference to the SCAB mechanics now at NW. If they are absorbed into DL when you all fall under one cert than DL will become SCABAIR. Sorry if it offends you but that is the way it is. Hopefully DL will do the right thing and interview and only take the few "honorable" technicians who returned to NW after the strike and show the others to the street. Today the only flying I pay for is on AirTran or I jumpseat on FDX.
