This hot off the press.
National Helicopters has started operating the York Police helicopter contract (EC120). Suppling pilots and maintenance. For those interested and qualified, they are looking for drivers. Not sure of minimum hours (I''m thinking 2000 hrs) but a night endoresment is neccessary as well as some IFR time would be helpfull. Flying out of Buttonville when the new hanger is completed. For more information call National at 905-893-2727.

Anyone know if the duals are going in??

I understand they are not, at the request of the operator. I feel they should be in, when there is another pilot in the next seat. Makes those long night shifts go alittle easier.

My thoughts anyway.

Didn't Silverline have that job? Or is this another EC120 in York?

I know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The change had nothing to do with the broken parts. New tender was sent out in January and National was the only one that bid on the contract.

Broken parts are another story.....🙂

Nope! It wasn't Silverline. Thats all I have to say about that.

Since I'm relatively new here, what is up with the post up higher referring to censorship? I don't want to rock the boat, just curious.

usually what it means is that you po'd somebody and either they have asked you politely to refrain or retract your comments, or they have forced the issue.
Sometimes it's a misunderstanding, sometimes there are ego's and reputations at stake.
I'm obviously controversial in here, and since my place of employment is known by many, even my identity, I am a target. I'm guessing a new name is in order, and in the future, I will be very selective in revealing myself.
So say goodbye to "MagSeal", and welcome "LipSeal".
No wait, that sounds too homosexual...how about I just surprise the bunch of you with something, generic, yet distinguishing.

Uh Oh.....Magseal...lets hope no one construes your last post as homophobic .....sheeeesh

Wind'em up!

That kind of scenario makes you wonder why for sure.
Why only one bidder? Why did the previous guys not bid again? Was the bidding kept so quiet, no one else knew? Did they know, and know enough to stear clear? Something sounds out of place...
