Is your disdain for a president not attending a military funeral new or does this apply to all presidents? 
 
From what I remember reading, W Bush did not greet the fallen soldiers coming into Dover a single time.

And I seem to remember that (first) Senator, then VP  Joe Biden is ALWAYS there ! ! !

Or were you busy searching or waiting for the next bit of news to validate your personal disgust of all things Obama.

How many funerals did Bush attend?  Does zero ring a bell? 
 
He gave an explanation that I think made sense.  He supposedly said that since there was no way he could attend them all, he would not attend any.  He did not want to place one soldiers life about another.  I agree with that sentiment.  My understanding is that he sent condolences to the families.  Whether or not he actually did it or one of his subordinates did is a different issue.
 
The fact remains that Bush never attended a single funeral and I am sure you did not even know that when you wrote your rant about Obama.  So why do you hold Obama to a different standard?
 
Did you read what I wrote?  Second paragraph, fourth sentence.
 
What does Bush saying we should stay in the ME indefinitely with no plan have to do with your claim that  the WH did not send any representatives to the soldiers funeral (he did) and the fact that I did not jump all over Bush (I supported his logic)?
 
Bush saying that the ME would implode after the US with drew is like predicting the sun will rise in the east.  No chit.  We could stay in the ME till the turn of the century, loose thousands more lives, waste trillions of more dollars and the out come will still be the same.
