Speaking on the Senate floor ahead of the vote, Senator Chuck Schumer, Democrat of New York and the minority leader, called the Republican approach “a process and a product that no one can be proud of and everyone should be ashamed of.” He went on to warn that changes made to the bill “under the cover of darkness” would “stuff even more money into the pockets of the wealthy and the biggest corporations while raising taxes on millions in the middle class.”

I guess these hypocrites forgot about when they shoved Obamacare down the collective throats of the public.

He is correct, they did shove it down their throats and lied to the public from Obama on down to sell it. Pelosi and company made it quite obvious the GOP wasn't welcome.

2 or 3 undercover democrat socialists scuttled that ship.....after several vacancies to the senate from a few democrats untimely exits, GOP can take 3 or 4 more eats through special elections...It'll be back on the burner.

Death panels are being fine tuned at the VA before being let loose on the public.

Cancer on medicaid? Personal friend has cancer and is getting very good treatment at basically no cost.....

Why should the fed lose tax revenue to states with exceedingly high taxes? That is an issue for the states and its occupants to work out.

I wonder if your friend is dreading phase 2 that Bernie talked about. Tried to get GOP Senators to promise they would not cut Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security....couldn't get one who would do it. But it's nice to know that "socialized medicine" is providing for him today though.

You're once again passing off false statements. The bill does not eliminate cancer treatment.

Obama instituted permanent cuts to cancer patients in 2013. Where was your horror then? States will be forced to pick up the slack as that was one of the goals of Obamacare and GOP wants states to handle more also.
