Do you tell them that the change in SS paymwnts was due to a 2% vacation that Obama proposed in 2010 which was opposed by Congress and now the SS deduction is back to what it was origianlly or do you just make crap up like you do here on the board? Obama most likely would have, but

Obama pushed hard to enact the payroll tax cut for 2011 and to extend it through 2012. But it was never fully embraced by either party, and this time around, there was general agreement to let it expire.

It is quite possible he would have liked it extended. How ever Congress was not interested. It was a cut that no one in Congress wanted in the first place. So now the SS tax went back to it's normal level and that is something that I am pretty sure that South did not mention to his co-workers.

Since it's the last wednesday of the month, I JUST check my SS Direct Deposit, and sure enough, the $1,650.00 was there, Right on Time !

Now with that said, ...get to bed early(for Good health).......get your ARSE into Work,...try to pick up all the OT you can, so YOU can CONTRIBUTE to .. M Y ..SS check arriving on time/Every time !
HELLL, by the time your eligible to draw SS, the full retirement age will be ' 75 ' !
So again, STAY healthy 'southwind...keep ' Breaking your BALLS,...Keep PAYING those SS taxes, because I don't want any slip-ups.
