Give me the MD80 (2 seat aisle 3 seat) configuration every day of the week, nothing worse than going on a romantic trip with the missus and big Bertha plops her fat ass next to us in a 3 seat row. I think we will have 50 to 75 MD80's in service for a while yet,
we are still doing some light engine overhauls on the JT8's and a lot of check & repair engine work. With the abundance of spare parts & cheap fuel, they fill the Eagle flights quite nicely.
