Sweet. That's a huge positive boost. I know how busy the AMFA National is with all this virus crap going on and it speaks volumes that Mr. Painter took the time to write you all. They are seeing the finish line guys. Keep it up, keep collecting cards, and by all means do not give up. AMFA doesn't get involved until they see enough "interest" from the grassroots efforts, so apparently they have seen enough to reply and show interest to get involved. This usually means AMFA info meetings might be coming to show what AMFA will and can do for ya all. Congrats for the well done job on the grassroots effort. Stay strong and stay united guys and hopefully you will be AMFA in 2020!!!

More doom and gloom towards AA from the analyst folks.
I'm not so sure AA would go away. Pretty sure the gov. would try and help save it from disappearing just because of its name alone. Pretty sure they could get back on their feet after another BK filing, although they will be one of the smallest airlines out there afterwards IMO.
Strap in folks, come Oct 1st it's gonna get rough if the flying does not improve...

The Fort Worth Star Telegram is painting a different picture in today’s newspaper saying American can avoid bankruptcy and will be a smaller airline.
