Alaska is slashing Virgins management positions

Kinda knew it was coming, but, do they really think that 300 people based in Cal. will transfer to ALK headquarters?  That would be one hard move just due to the weather alone.

Maybe not all 300, but absolutely people will move...

My son was stationed near SEA for a while, and I didn't find the weather all that bad.

The overall cost of living decrease will be like a raise to most employees.

There's also a quality of life increase that comes simply from leaving Kalifornia...

SEA's not exactly cheap, but it sure is when compared to the Bay Area.

I'm a native PacNW guy, and a bit biased, but the weather isn't that bad. Also it's NoCal we're comparing to, not somewhere like SAN...
