Ana Is Launch Customer Of 7e7

Boeing made a very smart decision here. Long thin markets and frequency of service is a theme being reinforced every day by the internet.

The boys at Airbus who chose the A380 vs the 7E7 concept must be on Cialis.

Given the choice, would you rather fly on an A380 or a 7E7??

I'm pretty sure there's a solid market for both. Some routes have exceptional peaks in demand (LAX to Europe, for example) and thus have no particular reason to support smaller planes, except perhaps by smaller carriers. OTOH, there are many, many routes for which the 7E7 will also provide some wonderful opportunities, again, ironically, in LAX to Europe (though now second- or third-tier cities).

That ANA choose the 7E7 might work for them but other airlines have different objectives and needs. I agree with mweiss that there is a need for both aircrafts. If you ask me if I prefer the A320 to the B737 and the A330 over the B767. But at this moment nothing tops the B747-400.

At the end it just comes down to the fact what aircraft will give what carrier the best results for their operation. And you should compare the B7E7 to the A330/340 and not to the A380. Compare the A380 to the B747-400.
