You see, the subject isn't whether Azul is really a sister company but that they are doing an IPO.
Whether Azul is a "sister company" by definition doesn't change the fact that they both have very similar histories, services philosophies, and fleets

IN an industry that seems to do a remarkable job of destroying capital, it is good to see a company that is doing a good enough job at what they do attract investors.
Virgin America would like to do the same thing but aren't there yet.
As airline fans, it is good to see successful businesses, no matter where in the world they are.
And I hope you won't be surprised if Azul and JetBlue become commercial partners at some point in the future.
