Out of those 9 only 2 are first hands accounts (assuming they are true).  The insurance claim with the mother and the college friend.  Everything else are second hand accounts handed down my familly.

I have never back checked any of the the things my parents told me.

The things Carson is being challenged on are his first hand accounts.  Secondly, as stated above, Obama was being questioned about things a bit more "important" than a few things in his bio.  Stuff like his religious affiliation and where he was born.  Whether or not "regina" was real seemed to have been lost in the fray.  I suspect Obama would have loved for the things on the list to be the worst of the questions he received in his campaigns.

You can always tell the level of threat and fear they have against republican candidates, as they ramp up the lies, attacks and general falsehoods.

Dog - from the West Point website:

What Does It Cost to Go to West Point?

Nothing.  Your only expenditure will be the effort you’ll put forth to set yourself up for a lifetime of success. Other than a nominal initial deposit to cover incidentals like the a notebook computer, this four-year college experience is a fully funded scholarship.  This includes tuition, room and board, medical and dental care, and more. You’ll also get an annual salary of more than $10,000 a year as a cadet at West Point, with which you’ll buy things like  your uniforms, books and supplies.   After graduation you will serve on active duty as an officer in the U.S. Army for a minimum of five years, followed by three years in an active or inactive Army Reserve component. Graduates consider this to be a small repayment for the West Point education and leadership experience during your time at the Academy.
