Thankfully I was able to meet him in Clt yesterday & get my copy of his book signed. He is such a great guy.

For once I got to agree with Doug & wish him the best. Smooth skies always Sully.

It was rumored that Richard Branson offered Sully a job. Maybe he will get a chance to fly the spaceplane!

Funny thing about Pilot's Pilots and supposedly perfect fit desk jobs.....

After Apollo 11 Neil Armstrong was made Deputy Associate Administrator for Office of Advanced Research and Technology at NASA. It semed like a great solution as he would not be placed in further risk and he had a high interest in cutting edge aeronautical engineering. He lasted a year.

The entire crew of Flight 1549 are symbols of commercial aviation's ability to get a good outcome from the most dire of circumstances.
