Indeed they are.  Yet we have the Patriot Act, which violates at least 4 of the 10 amendments in the bill of rights, and that puppy was rammed thru in a matter of days.  Last I checked, it ordinarily takes a lot longer to change the constitution. 
 
But I know that you would fight to the death if anyone tried to pass a law OR amend the constitution to restrict your second amendment rights.  Do you hold the same feelings towards the OTHER amendments..particularly #'s 4 and 6? Did you support the Patriot Act?  If not, were you as vocal about that as you are the second amendment?
